MOUNTAIN OF DRAKAR It is the tradition in Tibet that the practise of the great meditators consecrates the surrounding environment protecting all flora, fauna in the area from exploitation. It has been possible since the late 80's to reinstate this tradition. This is an example of a site now protected by the few monks remaining who are employed by Rokpa as rangers. |
