BUDDHIST HIMALAYA

Buddhism is an important cultural and spiritual influence in the lives of the Himalayan people. This influence has now spread throughout the world - but it still exerts a sense of mystery and fascination.

Join us in this ten day festival celebrating Himalayan music, dance, art and medicine with lectures, films, workshops and much more. Explore the meaning and traditions of one of the world's great cultures and the stunning geography of Buddhism's home - The Roof of the World!

Rheged management has donated its facilities and all proceeds from the event will go directly to the preservation of Himalayan culture and environment.

Rokpa appreciates the kind sponsorship of the companies that are helping to sponsor the Buddhist Himalaya Exhibition
