Benefits of the prayer wheel: "When fortunate capable beings turn the Dharma wheel upright the highest intelligent person will achieve enlightenment and work for sentient beings; the middle capable being will achieve fortunate rebirth and join the Holy dharma; and the lowest capable being will achieve good rebirth, separate from the ten non-virtuous actions."

The "Mani korlo" or Prayer Wheel House will surround the Samye Ling Stupa on three sides. Large Copper Prayer wheels containing many hundreds of thousands of Mani Mantras will form the inner wall with a glass screen behind. The outer wall will be solid with cubicles where ashes can be stored. The whole walkway will be covered with decorative copper roofing in the same style as the front canopy.

We would like to invite you to help sponsor the Mani house and the Wheels to accumulate merit and wisdom and liberate beings from suffering. We urgently need to raise £10,000 before the end of July 2005 to print the FOUR MILLION Mani Mantras inside each of the 45 prayer wheels that will surround the Peace Stupa at Samye Ling.
